“Thermal By Flir & Four New Partners, Unveiled By Flir”

The ‘Thermal by FLIR’ was announced today by FLIR Inc. This program is designed for technology partners who use FLIR thermal imaging sensors. The first four partners, ARSENZ, Casio, Panasonic, and TinkerForge, will showcase their innovations at the FLIR booth at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The innovations will include products from partners that integrated FLIR’s micro thermal imaging sensor, FLIR Lepton. FLIR has already crossed the first big obstacle by managing to find partners as big as the four companies mentioned above. It lays a solid foundation for future investors who are interested in the product.

Thermal by FLIR is a new cooperative product development that assists original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and innovators who use FLIR technology. The program ensures that the products that carry the original FLIR sensors can carry the Thermal by FLIR brand. They receive extra information and updates regarding the FLIR technology that has been integrated with their products. It also assists in receiving marketing support from FLIR so that products can be marketed successfully.

President and CEO of FLIR, James Cannon, said that the company is very excited about the new project that they are looking forward to partnering with these already established partners. He further stated that the goal of the company is to further expand its products into other sectors as well. The Thermal by FLIR brand appears on the products which indicate that only the original FLIR sensors have been used. It is a reminder that the user is working with a world-class leader in technology.

The Thermal by FLIR program is based on previous co-marketing agreements with Bullitt Group on the CATS60 smartphone and DJI on the DJI Zenmuse XT. Both of these products include FLIR sensors and branding. Whilst consumers enjoy the FLIR booth at the CES in Las Vegas, the company will be on the lookout for new investors and they are hoping to attract new partners at the event. This program fits with FLIR’s vision to be the World’s Sixth Sense. It is only the start of greater things to come.
